Takeshi Moro was born in Tokyo Japan, raised in the U.K. and currently lives and works in Chicago and Columbus. Moro studied photography at Rhode Island School of Design and holds a B.A. in Visual Arts from Brown University. He completed his M.F.A. graduate studies at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2008. A former instructor at Bowling Green State University, Moro now teaches photography and digital media at Otterbein College as an Assistant Professor. Moro’s work has been exhibited nationally and resides in the permanent collection at Museum of Contemporary Photography, as well as in various private collections in Chicago and New York City.
